On May 18th, 2017, we held our 5th annual signature fundraiser “Gin & Jazz” at Le Gare Viger in Montreal to support Sarah’s Fund for Cedars. The amazing event brought together 5 of Montreal’s top chefs from Bird Bar, Imadake, Suwu, Le Pois Penché, Mckibbin’s Irish Pub. Guests were also treated to appetizers and delights from Chez Wafi and sweets from La Delisherie. Attendees were invited to kick their heels up and knock their drinks down in support of a good cause. The event was a speakeasy soirée featuring live performances from swing dancers, jazz band, open bar and photo booth to complete the ambiance. Contributions from Gin & Jazz will go in support of Sarah’s Fund for Cedars, where all proceeds ensure that patients on Sarah’s Floor at the Montreal Children’s Hospital of the MUHC receive the best care possible. Sarah’s Floor is the hub of the MUHC’s Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Division. It is designed to make a sick child’s time at the Montreal Children’s Hospital as warm, comfortable and positive as possible.
