FEB 2023 : BLINDFOLDED HALF-MARATHON: IN SUPPORT OF CHILDREN WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS

On February 27th, we will be introducing our first cross-border (USA-Canada) collaboration, launching “In-Sight: The Unseen Road – part 1”, a series of events that will help raise awareness for children with visual impairments in support of the Make-A-Wish®/ Rêves d’enfants^MD Canada and Make-A-Wish® Metro New York.  

Our very own foundation president, Sherin Al-Safadi, will be running the Rockapulco half marathon in New York, completely blindfolded! 

To truly gain insight into the lives of these special need’s children, Sherin and her guide Collin, who will be acting as her “eyes” throughout the race, aim to help give a voice and platform that empower these special children and help them acknowledge their inner hero!
